Ne-Yo Clears Up Those Marriage Rumours With 2 Exciting Announcements

Ne-Yo is clearing the air once and for all, everyone.

After mysterious rumors started swirling last week that he secretly married his girlfriend, Crystal Renay, the R&B crooner took to social media to set matters straight — and to make another exciting announcement.

Before taking to the VMA stage with Kylie Jenner on Sunday to announce Tori Kelly’s performance, Ne-Yo posted a pic on Instagram of Renay holding up a photo that shows him hugging what appears to be a baby bump.

Then on Monday (Aug. 31), he announced that he and Renay are engaged (nope, not married!) and expecting their first child together.

Ne-Yo is already a dad to two kids, daughter Madilyn Grace and son Mason Evan, whom he shares with ex-fiancee Moynetta Shaw.

He also took the opportunity to address recent rumors that he forced Shaw to get her tubes tied, explaining that they made the decision together before splitting up in 2013.

Finally, Ne-Yo finished his mini-Twitter spree by explaining his decision to address the speculation surrounding his personal life, saying he did it for his fans and supporters.
